TV Video IN

Dell W2306C LCD TV Display
LG BP320 BluRay Disk Player

The LG Blu-ray player is connected to the Dell TV's side panel and it works.
I've attempted using the rear panel connections and it doesn't work.
My preference is to use the rear panel connections?
It appears that the rear panel does not have a video in (it has video out only).
How can I connect the LG Blu-ray to Dell's TV rear panel?
I need the side panel hook-up because it supports my home video security system.

The specs clearly show one set is component and the other composite. At least it does not sound borken.

You are correct. However, I've attempted to use the TV's rear panel several times using AV1 and AV2 and haven't been successful. I am wondering if there is an adapter converting the video out to video in or a HDMI converter that can be used in the TV's rear panel.

Yes, there are adapters out there.

Blu-ray?

I see there are 2 components input connections on the back of the Dell. Doesn't the LG have component out? For a blu-ray player, I would think that output would be there.

Yes, it does. However the LG Blu-ray player only works with the TV's side panel. The player does not work with the TV's rear panel. I would like to place the Blu-ray player's wire in the rear panel.
