Cat6 to HDMI signal issue

We have 2 TV's in the basement. Main TV is near the DirectTV reciever and Samsung Blu Ray player. Both are connected to an HDMI 4x2 matrix. The main TV has an HDMI directly connected and the other TV about 100 feet away has cat 6 with HDMI converters on it. We are able to get a signal on all channels from DirectTV except for paid channels at 1080p. If we switch to blu ray or movie channels we lose signal on the 2nd tv. We have tried changing the output from 1080p to 720 or lower but still doesn't get a signal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a HDCP issue.

Ask the folk that made the HDMI convertors about HDCP. It's a known issue but I find the makers often fib about this.

Be sure it works without those before you ask.
