How can I play my iPod through my stereo mixer?

Hi. I have a Radioshack 4 Channel Stereo Mixer.
I want to connect my iPod (via a 1/8 aux to 1/4 jack) to it.
The setup is not mine. It's my friend's. But he doesn't know how to do it, either.

..as long it is an 'Audio IN' port on the ratshack box. You may have to change an input setting on the Box for it to work, apple side is plug n' play.

5mm is the size of the audio jack on apple stuff and most computers too.
