Should they Test for 4:4:4 and Input lag in TVs?

I love the reviews you guys do of TVs here. But one thing that stinks is when you see a review of a TV that is rated great. But then you have no idea if the TV supports 4:4:4 Chroma Subsampling for PC use or Video games.
Or Input lag for games or PC use.
To me, if they test for Motion resolution why not test for 4:4:4 and Input lag?
To me and many others, these are two incredibly important pieces of information when shopping for a TV.
It's terrible to be happy you've bought an excellent TV only for it to have crazy input lag or not support 4:4:4
Testing for 4:4:4 is relatively easy using images like this

Testing Input lag is a bit trickier. You can't test games because they pile on their own variable input lag on top of what your TV is already doing.
So instead you use something like http://www.flatpanelshd.com/focus.php?subaction=showfull&id=1229335064
You have to have something like a CRT or Plasma and hook it up to the PC at the same time and set it into clone mode. And then take a picture and see the difference.
These are just suggestions. But I would love to see it done in reviews since you guys already test just about everything else for picture quality and even calibrate sets.
