Greetings all;
I do not own a TV - will probably NEVER subscribe to cable tv (or dish etc). What little "tv" I do watch is via internet (ABC, CBS etc delayed programs), and netflix, and dvd movies. Hence I do it all from my PC.
I'm buying a new (very inexpensive) pc to function soley as my media server - internet video and digital music library. - don't need much. Hence the PC I'm looking at (Lenovo Thinkcentre M58p) does not have an HDMI port - only VGA.
I have been looking for a TV to hook up to this PC - 32" - don't want to spend a whole lot. (hard to find w/ VGA port)
My Questions: If my PC does not have an HDMI port; do I need a 1080p HDTV?
Should I buy a monitor (though more costly) instead?
thanks in advance!!
