Adapter for wireless headphones with no audio output?

I have some wireless headphones that need to connect to red and white audio output ports. My Dynex tv is very basic and does not have any output ports or headphone jack or anything. It has hdmi ports and your standard component inputs. Is there something I can get that will work, keeping in mind I don't want to cut the speakers when using the headphones? My limited knowledge tells me I could plug in a receiver into the HDMI port then plug the headphones into the audio output of the receiver, but I don't even know if that would work, and I'd like to spend far less that the $100+ for a receiver. Any help would be great.

Clarification request: Does it have optical out?

There are many under 25 or 20 buck things to convert optical to RCA analog on amazon.

In the future supply make and model numbers and if you want the best showing from the members, a web link to the product's specs and manuals.

More details would certainly be helpful.

You could plug in the headphones to the source device if available (e.g. cable box, BD/DVD player).

If it's just basic cable (analog service), options are few. If you have an old VCR that has RCA audio out, you could try that. The downside is you would need to use this as the tuner for your TV.

For over-the-air service, you might be looking at a little more expensive or complicated solution.

If you had those, you could at least connect to a receiver where a headphone jack would be available. As it stands now, you required a new TV with headphones jacks/audio outputs unfortunately.
