Home audio & video forum: Need help/opinion, multiple TV's in a room, audio options?

Please provide all makes/models of hardware involved so we can assess properly

In general I would dissuade you from going with bluetooth since the sound quality is poor and other better options are usually viable.

The two TV's in question are both Insignia NS-32L121A13.

The third TV is a Samsung plasma and is run through the surround sound.

What I'm trying to do is allow friends that come over to get audio to headsets or ear pieces for their games on the smaller TV's which is why I figured bluetooth was a decent option.

If you pick up pairs of decent wireless headphones, you could listen that way from the other two locations. Dialing in *multiple* audio signals might be more of a workaround though. Here's an example of one where you could connect two pairs of wireless to one transmitter. It may be possible if your samsung plasma has either RCA audio outputs or a headphone jack, or you split the output from your receiver possibly.

That's not a bad idea. See, the reason I'm thinkin of going Bluetooth is because it will be multiple people coming by... So they can each have their own pair/earpiece/etc... But the wireless set isn't a bad idea!

...could multiple bluetooth headsets pair up with your surround receiver running the show/sharing audio with the folks watching games in other rooms(?) Perhaps others could comment on personal experiences/hardware functioning as such.

No see, we have three TV's all in one room, two won't have volume... Those are the ones I was looking to have some sort of Bluetooth or wireless with. That way, three games can be on, one going through the surround sound, while you can listen to one of the others with Bluetooth if you like.

Being able to 'instantly' switch from one input to another using bluetooth, at least it's not how I have ever seen it used. But perhaps someone else could comment on what your real-world possibilities would be in this situation utilizing BT. I still prefer traditional headphones to isolate the outside noise and pay attention to an audio track accompanying a televised event.
