question about my monitor - LG FLATRON IPS236 - New! by asaf

Hi everyone,

I just bought my new monitor, it's a LG 23" LED with IPS panel. the monitor is working great, and its AMAZING!

I only have one quesion:
when my PC get's in to "SLEEP MODE" the monitor is showing :"Check signal cable".
i want that it to be turn-off.
my Secondery Display LG Flatrton L1953R does turn it self off when the computer get's in to "SLEEP MODE".

Does anyone have any idea how can i solve it??

http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-IPS236V-PN# and the manual there does not show any auto power off feature.

When using HDMI connection...

I love this monitor too, and I connect my laptop to it whenever I'm working from home. Maybe it's only when using the HDMI connection, but when my laptop goes to sleep or powers off, the monitor goes into "HDMI Power Saving Mode" and seems to go to sleep itself while its power lighter fades in/out. This may not help you, but it seems weird that it would have its own sleep mode for just HDMI.
