I've been doing some looking around on this and if its came up on here I am sorry but all I could find was people advising to call a pro or not to do it because of x.
Basically, I'm looking to try and split a 70inch tv into 4 different channels running closed caption. I'm wondering whats involved. Do i simply purchase a quad splitter and wing it from there sort of speak? Is it more involved comming from the providers end as well? Any recomended tvs that might make this easier than others?
My available cable on the wall at the moment is just Coax, if need be I can have that changed to make this work.
Any help or guidance I would love. Thank you

Quad video processor. In HD it's pretty pricey so are you sure you can't get by with 4 smaller screens?

Price doesn't bother me too much. We're going for the effect over practical tv use. Trying to achieve this with lets say cable tv. I wouldn't have anything additional input sources.

If you are OK with that on a 70 inch screen then you are done. I can't guess your needs and if you can live with such a ratty looking pixel map but it is the old tech SD video processor.
Your choice on that. You did get the other part right about needing 4 cable boxes.

And 4 video sources. Nothing new going on here so be sure you get someone to help you along. That is, sometimes you find a client that didn't know they needed 4 video sources and they point at the cable TV coming out of the wall. You get to sit down and gently bring them up to speed.

Wouldn't the 4 video sources be the 4 cable boxes? I wouldn't know another way to run 4 different channels from one box. I've already assumed I'd have to get 4 other them, 1 for part of the quad. The channels would be fixed and not needed to be changed. The plan is the boxes wouldn't even be in the same room. Thanks for the help.

Now you have to decide if you need the output to be SD or HD.
Example Quad HD processor at http://www.rgb.com/products/QuadViewHD/
I'm sure there are more out there.
