ALERT! Do Not Sign Up for Slingbox!!!!!

I would have picked rant because there's plenty to rant about when it comes to slingbox systems, but I really feel and alert is necessary to keep the poor masses from being sucked into this ultimate internet scam.
Slingbox is one of the growing number of services out there that allows you to watch your cable online. Or so is the theory. But it seldom if ever works and when it does it's at the worst quality imaginable. On the rare chance I had to actually get "tech support" they simply blamed my internet connections for the poor quality even though I'm using a gigaburst connection to transmit to a 35 mbps connection. So obviously they're screwing it up somewhere in between.
Worse, after a year of owning their product you have to purchase tech support one instance at a time!!! Imagine paying for useless tech support for a useless product. Outrageous.
It's hard to even believe that in this day and age a major company like this could get a way with cheap con-artistry, but that's exactly what they've done.
Please please spread the word if you can to keep other poor consumers out there from buying this live wrecking product. Please!
