Newbie help? Klipsch soundbar amplification question

Hello all, sorry for bein such a newb but I have a few questions. I just bought a Klipsch Gallery G-42 3CH Black Soundbar w/ Sub from Negegg on sale for $299 (the link:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882780096)

After ordering I realized I have no idea if this is going to require a separate receiver for amplification? If so, I have a receiver from a $300 pioneer surround sound system I bought from Walmart years ago, would the amp from that be sufficient/ compatible? what specs must I consider to know whether or not the amplifier will be "enouigh" to get good performance out of the speakers?

it's already amplified. Just plug your audio from your t.v and plug the sound bar in and it's done.

User has to supply amplifier.

At 92dB sensitivity, practically any amplifier will do.

You and samkh are correct but it's very misleading to me..and I think it might be intentional. I would expect better from Newegg.

We all know Klipsch is somewhat overpriced, and their margin is quite high, since they no doubt can produce their speakers for quite a lot less than their retail prices. Combine that with the fact that the model is discontinued, and it becomes obvious that what's under the hood on this model is not complicated (e.g. doesn't include built-in amps, etc.).

If you quick review what Klipsch shows in their manual online, it specifically refers to the unit being connected to an amplifier. Always good idea to check the support sites for unfamiliar products.
