Convert pal coaxial to ntsc

This is probably a noob question. But i want to move my tv from the us to a country that uses pal, and i want to watch cable tv there, so my understanding is that i need to find a converter that converts from pal coxial input to ntsc hdmi, coxial or component. I found several devices that converts pal to ntsc, but they dont have coaxial input (only coxial output).

Does anyone know what i should do?

In general, I'd agree with Bob that a new TV is what you need more than anything. But knowing more specifics would be helpful. Be verbose.

It's not a popular answer but too often the AC power is 50 instead of 60 Hz and can cause other issues.

It's a shame the actual TV was not share but most have RCA jacks for COMPOSITE connections and that is what we run the video signals over. The usual COAX is that F-TYPE connector which goes to a TUNER and it's a safe bet that a tuner in the US is un-usable in other countries.

I'd not take such a set with me given the slim detail given.

After a bit more research, I decide to just sell the TV and get a new one over there. There is just too much hassle.
