LG LM 7600 LED TV can do active 3d

well i know that the above tv is passive. but since an active 3d requires 120hz refresh rate, i am just curious whether we can send 120hz HD signal to it. When i buy this tv i will be having it near my pc so will be using it as my pc monitor sometimes. so if i connect a nvidia 3d vision kit to my pc can i view active 3d? can the monitor fully support active 3d in this config?. or is there some thing i am missing?

No. HDMI does not support such a signal so no. I don't want to upset you but for now, even 120Hz active gets the same old signal and they do some work in the set to make more frames.

As per my knowledge you can't do that since, LG LM7600 is passive 3d TV as you already know that and passive mechanism is completely different from actives. Though, you can connect your PC with TV screen but, can't view it as an active 3D.

Why would you want an Active 3D? I haven't really heard of anyone say that they would want their Passive 3D to be doing Active 3D viewing. I personally would want it the other way around. Trust me viewing in Active kind of blows. The flickering from the glasses and the recharging of the glasses gets old real quick.
