Home audio (wireless) questions...

Hi , i just moved in to a new house in which we have 5 speakers in one room , and 2 speakers in another room , i wanted to know what do i need if i want to use all of the speakers at once , or just one room at a time. The 2 speakers wire are pretty far away from the other 5 speaker wire , so i want a solution to avoid having wires all over the house. I dont have any kind of home audio receiver or equipment , so please, what do i need for this to workout??

IMO wireless speakers are for the birds. It's also likely you won't get a strong enough signal with a wireless pair in a different room, so in that case, I would stick to a traditional 2nd wired pair for another listening space.

thanks for that solution , but i really cant get the wire all over the house , its pretty impossible , its not that far away , but both areas are pretty open (walls are far and the ceiling its really high) , im starting to think i that maybe the rocketfish wireless hd audio starter kit might be what i need.... maybe?

It still might not be ideal depending on where your AC jacks are located in the room.

first of all thanks a lot for helping me , it actually works out great in that way , my power outlets are actually right next to where the speaker wires come out of the wall. This is the product im considering

Are you referring to a 5.1 surround speaker setup?

Is the room with the 5 speakers set up for surround sound? The rocketfish can apparently accomodate 5.1/7.1 surround if you look at p.16 & p.19 of the manual online here-

p.26 illustrates how it could provider 5.1 in one room, and two speaker sound in another.

In any case you need to thoroughly run through the manual wink

The 5 speakers are not going to be on surround sound , but i guess this still works for me i can have the av receiver and the rocketfish transmitter there and the rocketfish receiver where the 2 other speakers are grin
