Samsung LED TV: can't connect to wireless network

I have a Samsung LED TV and want to connect it to my home wireless network. However, when I go to Setup > Network > Network Type, I only have the option "Wired", but no "Wireless" option. Therefore, I can't update the TV software either since I can't connect it to a network to perform the updates.

I would like to know why I only get the "Wired" option and not the "Wireless". My final intention from this is to be able to use my Samsung Android phone as a remote control for my TV. I would really appreciate your help.

...actually providing the model number so people can help you? wink

(Hint: knowing some details about your wireless network would help as well.)
