Connecting Flat Screen TV To Cable Box

I am a novice. I bought my first flat screen tv, Vizion 37 inch M series with wireless internet. I plugged my old tv into the cable box and it has 2 prongs, my Vizio has a 3 prong plug. How to I connect to cable if I can't plug my tv into my cable box?

Also during setup for internet, I have to use the on screen keyboard to put in my security code for my network. Where is the onscreen keyboard? Thanks.

Don't skimp on details if you need help in a public forum. Everyone's AV systems are different. Be very descriptive with all makes/models, etc. Knowing your cable provider would help too.

Newer TV's have HDMI ports to attach devices (Blu Ray, Cable, gaming consoles etc). You may want to pick up an HDMI cable and use that to connect your cable box to the TV. It takes care of video and audio in a single cable and will provide you with the best picture quality available.
