Roku2 issues

Hello, I have a roku 2 system that is set up in my parents room, it will not retrieve anything from netflix, but it will show the other programs(ex: crackle,Disney channel); I have tried resetting it,unplugging it for an hour even though it says for only ten seconds, neither one worked. Should I re-program it pr deactivate and reactivate or what, what should I do. I am running out of ideals.

There are a few things that kill it.

OpenDNS used to, and those firewalls in routers can break this. Sorry but I wonder if the internet protocol was that great an idea when it came to Netflix.
