Direct TV

I live in San Diego and really don't like Time Warner Cable but I kept it because they had the San Diego Padre games.
Now they don't have a channel at the moment (they said they might in June) but Direct TV
does so I'm thinking of dropping the TV part of Time Warner Cable and just keep the internet and phone.
I would actually save money doing this also.
I tried digital cable with Time Warner but I had problems with the picture quality (broken pixels every once in way while if you can understand what I mean)
Is satellite better than digital????

of new promotional price but after that is over (one or two years), the price will be about the same. I have had directv before and I have TWC now and as far as picture qualities goes, there should not be any difference. I did have some problem sometime with directv...when it rained very hard. I am acturally thinking of going back to directv because they are trying to get me back with them for a $29/month for a two years contract (which is not bad at all). I am in L.A. area. You mention sports channel, which might cost extra. So check to be sure.

The main reason I want to switch to Direct TV because they have signed a contract with Fox Sports West
so I can watch the San Diego Padre games.
I don't like Time Warner but I stuck with them because they were the only way I could watch the Padre's
games. Now that's changed so goodbye cable!!!!

I have TWC in SD and because of a foul up by TWC I have some phone and internet but no cable TV. It's running 66 bucks a month on a 2 year agreement. Pretty big savings to me.

OK, ALL and I do mean ALL digital systems are showing this issue. And since the satellite feed and system is digital now, it will break up just like before. Nothing's perfect it seems.
