120HZ vs. 240HZ

I bought a 55" LED TV 2 years ago and the thing to look for was 240HZ. The new LED TV's are bigger but are operating @120HZ, is there a new technology that allows the lower hertz to refresh better or are the companies trying to keep their pricing down?

There are still many LED TVs at 240hz, but it's possible that too many people complained about the sometimes weird image artifacts that it created that 120hz is now the norm.

Skip the bunk and look at Plasma

Not only will the price point/features/picture quality amaze you, but the native ability to handle motion supersedes the typical LED model.
