I live in a condo and got the Sony HT-CT150 soundbar for Christmas. I have it connected to a 50" plasma TV, Comcast HD-DVR and blu-ray player. My sofa sits about 10 feet back from the TV and soundbar, both sitting on a stand ~2 feet high. My neighbor says he can feel the bass/vibrations from the soundbar and has complained several times.
Currently the sound effects are much louder than dialog and I know very little about the proper bass/treble/subwoofer settings. They go -6 to +6 and I'm experimenting but with no luck. Any suggestions or ideas as to what I should set them to minimize the sound effects? Any help is greatly appreciated! Happy New Year!
