Wifi for Panasonic plasma G25

Hi - just purchased a P42G25 plasma TV and I don't feel like shelling out the $110 for the Panasonic wifi adapter. I'm going to be buying a PS3 slim to use as a Blu Ray player and web browser - can I just connect the TV Ethernet cable to the back of the PS3, and use the PS3 as a wifi router for the Panasonic? Or do I need to buy another router? (I have an AT&T UVerse with built in Wifi but it's nowhere near the TV room).

The PS3 doesn't offer that feature.

I have ATT Uverse and use a 25 DOLLAR REFURB WGPS606

Yes it's only 802.11g.
Yes some have trouble setting it up.
Yes I like it.
Yes I liked it so much I bought a second one for our XBOX 360.

I just bought the 50 inch G20 (essentially the same TV) and I bought the Wifi adapter from Amazon.com and it was only $35 with the free shipping. It was new in the box and works perfect.

Hi- I am in the process of doing research on a 50 inch HDTV and was considering TCP50G25 for purchase. I was wondering how you like the g25 series of panasonics? Any complaints?

I really like the g20, good value for the money and the viera cast is really a nice option. When I bought mine at best buy I also got a Panasonic 5.1 Blu-Ray surround sound system that was walued at $350, I actually disconnected my Samsung Blu-Ray player and used the system and it all works together flawlessly.
