'No Signal" through HDMI out -- AVR 645

Hi. Any help or advice would be appreciated...I purchased a Harman Kardon AVR 645 about 3 years ago. I recently started seeing issues getting the video signal through the HDMI to display on my tv (Blu Ray is connected to HDMI 1, HDMI out is going out to the tv). Sometimes when playing WII, you will see the monitor flicker and show "snow", then switch back to normal. I get the sound from the optical cable, but no picture anymore in Blu Ray --just a "No Signal" message on my TV. I think something is wrong processesing signal through HDMI out. Am I missing something? HK support hasn't really done anything for me except recommended to flash and reset the receiver again, which I have done.

I'm beginning to think that I need to send this into getting repaired. Is it even worth it to get repaired? Should i just buy a new receiver?

...it's a handshake issue unfortunately. Or sometimes a bad port. HDMI is far from being the perfect way to connect components.

At least you still have the option to connect direct to the HDTV and retain the full HD effect. You also won't lose much by using digital optical to the HK since a lot of content is good 'ol DD5.1/DTS and not yet in Dolby HD (etc.). Out of curiosity, what sort of decoding is that HK capable of(?)
