Just bought a new TV and Blu Ray player and am trying to figure out the best way to set up all I have for the best performance. Here is a list of equipment I have:
Panasonic PLASMA FULL HDTV - TC-P50S1
Panasonic BLU RAY DVD PLAYER - DMP BD80K
CABLE ONE Cable Box - Motorrola DCH6416
Older JVC VHS/DVD Combo Unit - HR-XVC27U
Wireless Router - D LINK DIR 655 XTREME GIGABITE N ROUTER
Problem is the router is in the office. The BLU RAY is in the living room so I will either need to purchase Panasonic's DY-WL10 Wireless LAN USB Adqapter or anohter Wireless Bridge Router. Looking at a D-LINK EXTREME N DUO DUAL BAND WIRELESS BRIDGE DAP-1522 for the bridge router. I have to have one of the Wireless Routers in the office in order to have my Printer connected via LAN.
Current cable configuration is:
Cable from Wall Outlet to Motorrola Cable Box
Cable from Motorola Cable Box to JVC VCR and cable from JVC VCR to TV.
RCA Cables from Motorola Cable Box to Panasonic Blu Ray DVD Player and HDMI Cable from Blu Ray Player to TV.
What would be the preferred way to get Internet Acess to the Panasonic Blu Ray DVD Player?
Is there a better cable configuration of this equipment in order to achieve the best performance?
