How-To:Connect LED TV, Receiver, Blu-Ray and HD Cable Box

Help!!! I am trying to get the best out of my Home Theater System. I would like to run everything through my receiver. Please provide step by step instruction to connect the following:
Samsung LED TV
Samsung Blu-Ray
Rotel RSX 1055 Receiver
Comcast HD Cable Box

Try the following. I'm assuming you have surround sound speakers & a sub as well(?)

Comcast HD box (HDMI out) -> (HDMI in) Samsung LED HDTV
Comcast HD (digital optical out) -> (Digital optical in) Rotel

Samsung Blu Ray (HDMI out) -> (HDMI in) Samsung LED HDTV
Samsung Blu Ray (multi channel out) -> (multichannel in) Rotel
*photo depicting multi channel inputs on back of your Rotel-

The reason I'm suggesting the analog multi-channel inputs is because your receiver lacks HDMI & doesn't have built-in decoders for the lossless (wideband) audio content. Provided your BD player can decode & output (which model blu ray player do you have, btw??) the multi-channel analog, you should be good to go. If not, you can simple use digital optical from the BD player to the Rotel instead of the multi-channel analogs.
