Broken off coaxial cable jack

I have a RCA combo DVD/VCR recorder. I think there was a mfg defect as the OUT coaxial cable jack broke off even though there was no pressure put on it. I want to hook it up to a little 13in TV that only has 1 coaxial cable jack for the input and two audio/video plugs so I can transfer some videos to DVD. The RCA has input and output a/v but all the connections in the book show that the OUT jack that broke off must be used unless it's S-cableor component. Does anyone know if a solder would hold on the jack or if I could use metal epoxy? I can't afford to get a new TV or DVD recorder.
Thanks for any help.
