Video frame rate?

I have 2 videos and on my pc it says the framerate is 0 but i can watch the video (.wmv)as normal. I cannot convret it for my phone.

it maybe because it's not important. What format does the phone uses?

My phone uses Divx format. But i cannot convert it because of the framerate problem. When i try to convert the video, its says "DivX Converter cannot encode files with variable frame rates. Please make sure all input files contain a constant frame rate." This is the original copy and has not been edited in any way.

I have heard of various bitrate for mp3 encoding, but...

I have never heard of various frame rate for video. What format are these video file? Maybe you can change it to dvd first then to divx. Long process...I know.

welll they are windows media videos (.wmv) but i cannot convert it with any of my video converters at home i have:
PSP alive video converter;
Video Joiner.
because all they say is somthing about varriable framerates. so i don't know what to do.

As I know,iPhone supports only MP4 and WMV format.So,to play your WMV files on iPhone,you may need a converter to help you.Here is one for reference:
