green-tinted screen on my Toshiba plasma TV when using VGA?

I have a Toshiba plasma TV (model # 50HP66) and I have been using it just fine with television, DVD, and a PC running Windows XP (using the TV's VGA input). Recently, within the last month or so, if I try to use the VGA input, the screen is tinted green. My computer works fine, I even tried re-installing windows and re-installing the drivers for my graphics card to see if that would work, but the screen is still tinted green. Has anyone else had this problem? I'd appreciate any help/advice that anybody could give.

can you change the White Balance settings eather on the PC or the tv.

did you check the settings on the tv, maybe a power outage/surge reset the tv colors?

to me it sound like the White Balance Gain and/or Bias Green setting is set way too high, but is it on the TV side or PC side.

PC works fine on any regular LCD monitor

i tried hooking up the PC to other LCD monitors, and it works fine, it's just on my toshiba TV that I get a green-tinted display. Everything else, like regular TV or video games work fine on my Toshiba TV, but whenever I try to use my VGA input, the display is green-tinted. I also tried messing with the display color settings on the TV, but there weren't any changes. where would I find the white balance settings? i only found red/green/blue settings.

It could indicate and missing red or blue signal or simply the need to calibrate that output or input (sorry it all depends on what you tweak.)
As it stands I would not say the problem is here or there yet.

There is nothing wrong with your PC its a VGA component problem same thing happened to me just last week when my TV started to green tint in grays and dark areas plus very bad contrast when I connect TV and PC with VGA cable. I've tried everything even switched my computer from desktop to laptop and i also changed settings on my TV too but no use.
I suggest you should have someone to fix your VGA component on your TV and I hope it gets fixed
My problem still exists no solution so far, I have decided to buy a new LCD monitor for my desktop
