transfering recorded programs from Dish DVR 625

I currently have a Dish DVR625 and am upgrading to a VIP722 DVR.
Is there a way to get my recordings off the 625 and onto the 722?

Can you pull the drive from the DVR 625, Get a usb-hdd converter, then connect using the USB port?

VIP 722 DVR

Hey!

I just ran across your post about upgrading to the 722 DVR, I know it may be a little late to repost but hopefully you did upgrade to the VIP722. You can't move recording from the 625 to the 722, but you can use an External Hard Drive when you do get a VIP 722 to save your recordings and also the VIP722 series recievers are compatible with our Sling Box and you can also watch TV any and everywhere. I'm a DISH Network employee and I have a ton of experience with these recievers, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
