32",37" or 40" LCD TV recomendation with volume leveling

I am looking for some recomdendations for a flat screen tv. I am not looking for a high end unit but more along the lines of the value models in the $600-$1000.00 range. The one item that is really important to me is some type of automatic volume leveling.

Also along that same line, are there any lower priced $300 or less home theater packages that would include some type of automatic volume leveling?

And how well does this technology really work? I am just connected to standard cable and a DVD player. Not big movie watchers and no gaming. Thanks

I'll try to help, but I am unaware of which TVs do what you are looking for.

what you are looking for is compression. which is what commercials have, compression up the ying yang. so the commcercials will still sound louder, but hopefully much less you.

wherever you find dynamic compression, set that to maximum.

you should find it in your cable box, dvd player, and receiver. set all to maximum.

sometimes the receiver's compression might be called "night mode" etc, and the issue with that is that you need to set that every time your turn the receiver on. Such as Onkyo, if you are looking for cheap HTIB.

other than that, i don't know esp tv.
