We just got a new Insignia Digital Set Top Box.
Its seems to be very well designed.
I hooked it up to a OTA ant on the roof of my store, just to see how it works, it was very easy to setup with only three setup questions, then it starts to auto scan the channels.
once the channels are all found you have to setup the remote, this scared me for a minute just because we get alot of older customers who cannot setup electronics very well, but to my suprise it was also very easy all I had to do is hold down the TV power button and push channel up a few times to turn the TV on and thats it.
it also seems to have its own volume so you dont have to setup the remote control the TV volume, and the remote looks very easy to work with very few buttons, and while looking through the menu it was pretty easy to see that samsung made this box because the menu looked the same as the samsung TV menus and the samsung HD set top box.
over all I was pretty impressed with this little box, for being a 59.99 box, 19.99 after rebate.
good day
