Thanks for responding. These are a few of the models I've been looking at:

Pioneer Pro-150FD, $7,500, and Pro 1540HD $7,000.
Toshiba REGZA Cinema Series 57LX177 $7,000.
Mitzubishi Diamond LCD LT-52244 $?
Sharp Aquous LC-65D64U $8000.

i will assume you're looking more for size then anything else...cause with the brands and models you listed.........the pioneer is the only one I will ever consider spend money on.

Toshiba has really gone down the hit within the last few years since they stopped making their televisions and the quality control has gone down drastically.

the d64 series from sharp is their midrange series and quality control isnt that great.

i'm not going to say anything about the Mitsubishi lcd flat panels because i have never seen it or heard anything about it.

the pioneers you listed are amazing televisions......especially when you're putting one of the best plasmas ever created to mediocre lcds. why no panasonics?

Yes, but I keep getting sales sites and I don't want to wade through ten pages of ads to find one review. I guess I'm stubborn.
