insignia any good?

does anyone have any experience with an insignia tv? if so, how is the quality?

I have two 50" insignia plasma TVs. I loved my 1st one so much that three months later I went out and purchased another. It is less than two years later from the purchase of the first TV and they both have issues. One the screen DIED, the second has three vertical lines. On the upside, they do come with a two year warranty, so a repair tech is coming out... eventually to fix them

Why not Cheap?

My mother bought a good quality Sony LCD TV and RCA LCD TV and they both went out in 2 years. It is a crap shoot with anything you buy these days. Best thing to do is look at picture clarity and choose from that what you want. Stay away from plasma's they are throwaways due to the cost of repairs. Happy hunting.

"Best thing to do is look at picture clarity and..." ---> Huh? Sure, most HDTVs can provide a *clear* picture. But it's not always the best *quality* picture, depending on brand and model. You sir are misinformed.
