Toshiba 27AF45 27" Flat Screen TV

I was considering buying the Toshiba 27AF45 27" Flat Screen TV ($289.99 on). However, I noticed that the Toshiba 27AF44 27" Flat MTS TV is $349.99. Because the 27AF44 costs more than the 27AF45, does that mean that the 27AF44 is better than the 27AF45? What features does the 27AF44 have that the 27AF45 does not? Also, is there an even better 27 inch flat CRT in this price range than what I'm considering buying? Thanks.

I found Panasonic a tad, just a tad better. $300 at J&R (you'll know it if you lived in NYC) and just $10 more.

Every rep seems to say Samsung is great, though, and I love that HDTV they have...

No info on the website, but when I called, I found out that the 27A45 model is newer, more improved, and less expensive than the 27A44 model. Makes no sense, but it's true.

Now how do I actually buy a 27A45 that's not online? Circuit City and Good Guys seems to have something against carrying Toshiba. The sales reps I talked to said that it might be because both stores carry brands that are in competition against Toshiba. So anybody know where I can buy one? I'm looking for a good service plan too.

Try BestBuy. They are on sale this week for $329.00
