Deciding on HDD player

I'm pretty stumped as to which player I should get. I want long battery life, and 20gb at least. I also want it to be a reasonable price. I can't justify anything over $300 CAD.

I was looking at the creative zen touch, because it seems to fit the bill. However, the futureshop employee i talked to said that i should hold off because creative is releasing new players. Now it seems like a stupid time to release new players, and I haven't heard of anything new other than the photo version of the zen micro.

Anyone heard anything about this or have any advice regarding which player to get?

Unless you want to sit back and look for weekend sales, you might as well get it now. I recommend getting an extended warranty especially if you get the player at a sale. The $20 or $50 you could potentially save through a sale is best invested protecting your player. ^_^

One thing I've been wondering. They make a 40gb version but I've only seen it for sale on their own website. Unfortunately, after shipping, the price becomes prohibitive. Is there anywhere in Vancouver that has the 40gb version? (yes I know the price will probably be higher than I want to pay)

zen touch

I ended up just buying the zen touch because it has great battery life, good storage capacity (especially considering it's the same price as the zen micro), and if I want radio I can get the inline remote later.

And holy $H!T that thing has amazing sound quality.
