PMP(?) Device

Hi everyone,

Well I'm needing a good android player. I've seen the galaxy players, but 'm looking for something that runs android.
I'll be needing:
- A good camera( possibly better than the iPod touches potato)
- reasonable battery life
-WiFi enabled device
-upgradeable to ICS/ already running ICS
-And a large memory, Preferably though, an sd card slot
It needs to be reasonably powerful and be better than the iPod touch, if possible happy

I'll be needing this for Christmas, so I'm not sure if companies are going to be releasing some new products

Sorry, just wasn't sure if the galaxy players could run ICS. All reviews have been with Gingerbread, so I wasn't sure if they are easily upgradeable or laggy with ICS. Are there any other pmp-type android devices like the galaxy Player? and, which s the better Galaxy player spec-wise?

Why is the specific version of Android such a deal breaker? I have the lesser model Philips Android GoGear and it's really nice to take with me.

I can't think of any reason to change the OS here. What I see on the Galaxy 5 is less than one year old in the Android OS line.

Then again, why not hold out for Gingerbread? If so, look at the 7 inch units.

I'll probably settle for the 4.0. but, I might just wait a bit more and settle for an android phone... we'll see.

Let me share I'm in the market (maybe.)

As my contract ends it may be time to move along. For me, I have a few too many Android devices to look at since the office is working on Android apps. I see the consumer may want the latest Android OS and many are chuffed when the cell phone provider never puts it out.

At least we are not being tossed under the bus. Link follows.
