Which iPod should I replace my 5th Gen. video iPod with?

My 5th generation iPod Video is dying(I keep getting a sick face) . I have had it since 2005, so it has lasted me a good long time. I don't care to get rid of it, but it only works maybe once a day for an hour if I can get it to start up.
Basically I use my iPod a lot. I use it at the gym, in the car, and just walking around. I have music and some audiobooks that I listen to on it. I've never had the desire for using it for video. Plus I have a smart phone, so the internet on the touch isn't really a great turn-on for me.(Also thinking of getting an iPhone in a few months, if that helps). <div>
I know that all have an advantage. The mini is small and great for the gym. The touch has a big screen, and the classic a big memory.
Any weigh-ins on which model I should go for.

Thanks
Ashley
