ihp120 and me

I am new to all things digital and I guess I jumped in without all the facts. I bought an iriver ihp120 and now I can't load my music files to it. I bought music from itunes and realplayer. I have windows xp home edition. iriver tild me I had to go through windows media player but I can't seem to load the tunes into the library. Can anyone help me?

The music bought from iTunes is in AAC format and the music you bought from real is in RAX format, neither of which are supported by the IHP-120. That's also why Windows media player won't play the files; it doesn't support the formats either. The best thing to do would be to burn all your music to CD's then rip the files back onto your computer in WMA or MP3 format, which are supported by the IHP-120.

if you can, return the iriver and buy an ipod. no DMP can play RAX files, but the ipod is the only DMP that can play AAC files, so all of your itunes songs will work. if you cant return it, then i have an offer for you. im trying to sell my ipod to get an iriver h120, so maybe we could swap? its a 3rd gen 15GB that comes with everything it originally came with including the original packaging. i'll also throw in a silicon case and a 3 port firewire laptop card to make it even. if your interested contact me at theorb87@hotmail.com
