MP3 players forum: How do I Unlock my iPod Touch ?IPod not recognized

If you know the passcode that it is asking for you can unlock the screen on the touch and then go to settings and reset the touch, from the touch's screen. Doing this will reset all settings including the passcode, and it will erase all of the music on the touch.

If you do not know the passcode you can reset it by first connecting it to you computer. Next hold down the awake/sleep button (top black button) and the home button at the same time, this will restart the touch, when the apple logo appears on the touch's screen then let go of just the awake/sleep button (continue to hold down the home button). Have itunes open well you are doing this (from the start) and it should pop up a message asking if you want to restore the ipod. Doing so will erase all info on the touch including the passcode.

okay, i have bought an iPod Touch from a Pawn shop and they didnt tell me that iPod was locked up so i tried to use my iTunes to unlock it and its not working. Can you Help me.

I have tried What you said in "How to unlock touch" but it isnt working. is there anything you could tell me to unlock the ipod or something.

AHHHHH PLEASEE HELP ! i have a 64 gb. itouch with over 1000 songs and 10 movies on it . I left my itouch out in a rainstorm... dont judge, and at the same time my computer just so happened to crash. and my itouch turned back on but it says connect to itunes, and when i connect it it says like everyone elses that the ipod is locked and we have to unlock it on the ipod. But the only screen my ipod lets me go to says connect to itunes, so i cannot unlock it. I have googled solutions so many times. If anyone has any idea, please help !
