creative zen problem!!

ok my brother just bought a creative zen 2gb a couple days ago. for the first few days it's been working fine, until randomly while he was just listening to it the screen turned black and stopped working. I tried turning it off, pressed the reset button...but still nothing worked. do you guys know whats wrong with this?? and how can i fix it. thanks!

Creative Zen Black Screen

I had the same problem with my 16GB model after about 6 months. I suggest you return it to the store it was purchased from or get Creative to issue and RMA. Per information on Creative's own support forums and my conversations with them, it needs to go back to the factory for repair.
