MP3 players forum: Best MP3 Player for Gym?

It's a great little player. You might be able to find the 2GB for under $50, but it normally retails for $60. There's also a 1GB version, but I haven't seen it in physical stores. It's small, lightweight, sounds good, and has a clip (hence the name).

I have several MP3 players, including the 2nd gen Nano from Apple.The Sansa clip is by far the most portable for gym rats like myself. Its small, light and has a very nice clip. I have the black 2Gb version. Sound is very good. Prior to the Clip I used the Nano while working out. Its ok but you need an arm band or case (that has a attachment clip). It adds cost and complexity to an otherwise simple task

I've used this for the past few years and hasn't given me any problems. I can update my playlist in about 30 seconds with the USB cable. I use a lot of free weights and run about 4 times a week. No problems at all for me. Battery life is pretty good, but the only hassle is it's not rechargeable. You can find them really cheap probably around 30 bucks or so. I wouldn't hesitate to get another. They have 2GB models as well but 150 songs is plenty for me when I'm lifting.

I had a Creative Zen Vision M, and I liked the interface till it broke on me but I haven't had a chance to play around with the Stone. How does it hold up?
