Creative Zen Vision: M

Well, im planning to upgrade my mp3 player. i've had the gen 1 dell dj 15gb for about 2 years now, which becomes unreliable after about a year (i've had it replaced by dell with an even worse refurbished model). anyway, i was thinking of buying the Zen Vision: M. for those who already have it, what are there any major/minor problems with it?

Super player except for one thing...

In many ways the Vision:M is superior even to the iPod 5G, as pointed out in the CNET review. It is really fun to use except for one aspect: the touch-sensitive central navigation control. Even when set to minimum sensitivity it is still too sensitive and just a light touch ends you up in a place you didn't want to go to. In this respect the Zen is a far cry from the iPod click-wheel. If you are willing to put up with this one weakness - the unit is a true delight!

Great Player

This player just does too many things, but more importantly, it does them well. First and foremost it is an MP3 player and the sound quality is great. There is no Mac support so this can be a drawback. I agree and dissagree with urr_quasdim about the touch pad sensitivity. It does take some getting used to but with time becomes very easy to munipulate. Get this player, you won't be dissapointed.

The Zen Vision: M is amazing...really

I love it....the video playback is great, the screen is beautiful, the audio quality is great....I cant complain about a thing at this point. I dont have any problem with the touchpad, I got the hang of it after the first day, it has a very intuitive GUI IMO....good luck!

thanks guys.

i think i can get used to the touchpad. my cousins have the zen micro so i am familiar with it and i think i can get used to it. anything is better than that piece of crap gen 1 dell dj i have [had].
