Best Digital Audio Player

For me, it would have to be the Cowon iAudio X5L 30GB model.
What do you think is the best digital audio player?

(NT) (NT) anyone out there?
(NT) (NT) Creative Zen Micro
When I asked what do you think the best digital audio player was, I meant what do you think is the best of the best. The best that money can buy. The iAudio blows away the Creative Zen Micro. The iAudio has 30GB, 35 hour battery life, view videos, pictures, voice recorder, FM radio, and a colour screen. It's basically an All-in-One, which it is. Any others you have mind that you would request that can match this?
Creative Zen Micro has the most value per dollar at $180-250. You get more for your money. Yes the $350 Cowon iAudio X5L has 30GB, but who actually knows 15,000 songs? That is just a waste. Yes it has a color screen and you can view photos, and so will the Creative Zen Micro Photo too when it comes out...
The Creative Zen Micro Photo will have a FM tuner and voice recorder, like the regular Micros. And it will do it all in a much smaller, more compact case than the Cowon. It is much more of an engineering feat. Definitely better than the Cowon (that nobody has even heard of) in my opinion.
You forgot one thing...
The iAudio X5L also plays video. Thats going to be taking half or even 3 quarters of the hard drive. The rest of the space will be music and voice recordings. Plus the X5L model has 35 hours of battery life, on where your Creative Zen Micro Photo has 12 hours. So obviously I would agree with you IF it didn't have video. And one more thing, like the editors said, "it's the iPod killer."
"view videos, pictures, [...] and a colour screen."
None of these make it any better as an MP3 player.
(NT) (NT) name another
best product on the market bar none
Large capacity- Zen Touch
Mid-capacity- Zen Micro, Rio Carbon
Flash- Zen Micro
Rip-off capacity- APPLE I-POD (except I like the Shuffle cause it's small and lightweight.)
The Zen Micro uses a micro hard drive, which can be damaged during active use, while flash players can withstand most types of use without skipping or taking damage. have you ever heard of a 5GB flash player? It doesn't exist yet because it would be too expensive because flash memory is expensive.
One example of a decent flash player is the Sandisk Sansa which i bought recently. I like it, and i recommend others to look into it as well. I reviewed it on Epinions at this link:
Re-Read My Question
My question was, what do you think is the best digital audio player that money can buy? and that can compete against the iAudio X5L 30GB model? All the devices that you guys are telling me are being blown away by the iAudio X5l 30GB model
Compare the specs between the Zen Touch to the iAudio X5L 30GB model....iAudio again blows it away. Doesn't anyone agree with me? iAudio beats the Zen Touch in everyone category. Think about all the features the iAudio has and then loook at the Zen Touch..next please...
yeah, the iaudio's clearly superior to the Zen touch....
I'm not sure while anyone would even bring it up, as the touch is documented to have several problems. however, iaudio loses on the price point. Not everybody has the money to splurge on their players, and the ipod lovers, the ones with those kinds of finances, aren't likely to switch over anytime soon, due to the simple reason of brand loyalty. Unless cowon goes on a major marketing campaign for its player, which is probably better than the current 4th gen ipod, it doesn't matter if the iaudio player is better, they'll still be outsold by Apple and Creative players.

That wasn't part of my question though...I strongly stressed on which digital audio player is the best that money can buy. The thing that is good about the iAudio is that it's the same price as an iPod, but the iAudio can do so much more. So if you had to pick...not worrying about the price, which digital audio player is the best that money can buy?
This is just a BAD question...
...because the is NO best. For some the BEST is the smallest and lightest, for some the BEST is the most rugged, for some it's the largest capacity etc... You see what I mean? It all depends what you need it for.
If you are an active sports guy (and I don't mean threadmill and that kinda indoor fitness studio stuff) your Cowon iAudio X5L 30GB ain't gonna live for more than a day.
switch it up...
Alright i'll switch it up then...what's the best all-in-one digital audio player(hard drive wise)
If you mean by the most supreme portable player that can do everything known to man, then that would be the Creative Zen Portable Media Center.
But I could be wrong(again).
I like Creative because they last longer than other products.
Battery Life and so on....
If you want battery life, then the iAudio X5L has a battery life of 35 hours. On where your Creative has a battery life of 22 hours with music, and 7 with video. Although yours is a PVP(portable video player) if you want to fly that way, then I would rather go with the Archos AV420.
Creative Zen Vision
although it does have a lower battery life than the cowon. it has a much larger screen ( if you are so keen on watching videos ) and it has something no Archos PVPs has, FM ( although the cowon has FM too ) it's 400 USD but if you can splurge, i think it is better.
P.S. Has built in speakers for multiple people watching/listening/recording ( FM )
Can you play video loaded on this to a TV?
I am wondering if the Creative Zen Vision or which of the newer PVP's can send the video out to be watched on a TV? Is this pretty standard? I would like to be able to load video's and watch them on the go or on any TV with the correct input.
(NT) (NT) deserved this answer...cowon enthusiast
Personally I like this one better than the X5L because it has the same features (once you have the Korean Firmware upgrade to play videos) as teh X5L and I like the shape better and it has 10 more GB of storage. The H340 also has excellent FM reception. The only thing that the X5 has better is the battery life.
Just thought I'd add some competition to the X5L...
man youre a dick
you make a whole post on what other people's pinions are and push them to say what you think. you waste time. i hate you.
its ok :P
