I am looking for a good camcorder that will survive below freezing weather as well as some snow! I have been doing some research and I like the features included in the Panasonic HC-V700M. However, as it is a traditional camcorder with no water resistance whatsoever (I presume) I figure it would not be such a great idea for cold weather filming.
I supposed that the Panasonic HX-WA20 would probably work as it is waterproof, however I am not really a fan of the "Gun Grip" style.

Do I have any other options? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
