I just used a Canon DM-100 external microphone with my Canon HF S21 camera and the sound and image are not synched. What can I do to synch the sound and prevent this from happening again?

"Out of synch" symptom you report when the camcorder is used for playback or when the video files are transferred from the camcorder to the computer and the computer media player does the playback?

Because iSkysoft was spammed in the forums I can't help but give it zero stars.

Back to your issue. Is this the mic that Canon suggested? Why I ask is that if so, you have a clear warranty or product issue.

Problem solved

iSkysoft recommended resetting the compatibility mode in the preferences and that did the trick. I tried other converters for Mac with no success. So far, I am quite happy with iSkysoft and their tech support. Thanks for your support as well!
