Greetings one and all.
For a number of years I used various Sony digital8 camcorders, which I absolutely loved and with which I racked up many 100's of hours of vacation footage, but l developed chronic tendinitis in my elbow and I had to resort to a smaller lighter mini-dv camera.
In all my cameras two things remained constant: they needed to have decent low light ability and absolutely had to have the option of attaching a wide angle lens and or filter via threads at the lens area.
Now, as I consider going to a HD flash memory camcorder, regular consumer grade, I am not seeing any with the lens/filter attachment capabilities.
Surely there are some out there?
I see that some brands have increased the wide angle capabilities of their cameras; but I cant imagine that they equal a dedicated wide angle lens; am I wrong about that?
And how do you add a polarized filter?
Have a Magical Day
K
