So I was planning to get me an SD90 (or V700) since both cameras have extremely good sharp image quality. I was so set on buying that until I knew about the Canon VIXIA HF R36 (aka LEGRIA HF R38 in Europe).
It is pretty much cheaper. Has a more powerful zoom, which is very important to me. But the thing is, I just can't tell how it performs in comparison to the Panasonic one.
I tried watching test videos on YouTube but they all gave me mixed and undecided feelings about it since the quality in each got affected by the method of upload. There are plenty of test videos for the SD90 and it's clear how sharp and clear the image is and I love that stereo sound.
I just need to make sure and decide once and for all, in terms of picture clarity and audio quality.. is there a major difference between them? Is any one better than the other?
I hope I can reach my final comforting decision here through your help.
Thank you all
