Some videos are grainy, some are great...

I recently got a new video camera (Toshiba Camileo H30). The extremely frustrating issue I'm having is that some of the videos I shoot look beautiful and crystal clear when I view them on my computer, and others look like a grainy mess. I can't see a common theme to the grainy photos. I'm keeping all the camera settings the same, and using the same programs to view the videos. I don't think the lighting is the issue, because some videos with lots of light are grainy, and some are fine. The only somewhat consistent theme is that the long videos (20+ minutes) are pretty much all grainier than the shorter videos. I am using a Transcend class 6 SD card and shooting in 1080p. Could the SD card be the issue?

check the sample rates

you could compare the sample rate of videos, perhaps the camcorder lowers the sample rate in specific conditions. I think the freeware GSpot can be used for that.
