I am trying to make a horror movie in the woods on a shoe-string budget. Some of it has to be shot at night, and real night-shooting tends to be so dark that you can't see what's going on, so I'm trying to do what's called day-to-night shooting, which is to turn down the tungsten settings in the white balance as well as the saturation levels to make anything shot in the daylight look like it's actually taking place at night. My problem is that the camcorder I have - Panasonic's 3D HDC SDT750 - doesn't have a tungsten or saturation setting. Does Panasonic have any substitute settings for what I'm looking for? Also, I'm thinking of getting Canon's VIXIA HF R20 Black, which does have tungsten, but it doesn't have saturation setting that I can find on the specs. I'm at a loss. Any help would truly be appreciated.
