mod/moi files on Panasonic - SDR-H100

My office is using several Panasonic - SDR-H100 cameras. We're a mac-based office and use the cameras for surveillance footage. Our investigators upload the footage on their cameras and send it via a secure file sharing system. The investigators with mac computers have been able to upload and send their footage as .mov files. The date/time information is intact when I import everything into iMovie.

The pc users are uploading and sending their footage as two separate files, .mod and .moi. Since I can't watch the .mod files on a mac, I used MPEG Streamclip to convert to something usable. This appeared to destroy the date/time information, the clip now says "created on..." in imovie. I believe the date/time information is in the .moi file but have no way to access this. Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated!

1. Call Panasonic and ask how to do this since the date/time is getting trashed.
2. Get some Apple to do the work.

I already spoke to Panasonic. They didn't have a solution and could only say that a third-party software might help.

try my tool sdcopy

You could try my tool sdcopy but it does not run on a mac.
It converts the mod files to mpg and puts the creation date and time into the file name.
Then at least you will notice the date from the file name.

I have a MacBook and can not seem to find a way to load these mod/moi files into iMovie - can you please tell me how your folks did it?
