Compatible Batteries not working with Samsung SMX-F34

Hi all,

I bought a Samsung SMX-F34.
I already ordered 3 different compatible IA-BP85ST Batteries but none of them are working. I then also ordered a charger for the batteries and charged them. That went well. However when placing it in the camcorder only 3 led are flashing quickly and then nothing is happening.
It seems there are also problems with compatible batteries with the HMX20 models. Could this be the same, and what is exactly the cause of the problems with the HMX 20 models.

Anybody a clue ??

samsung batteries?

were they samsung batteries? or did you go cheap and buy generic batteries?

Makers are now forced to lock out non-approved batteries for liability reasons.

HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH PANASONIC COMPATIBLES . THEY SUDDENLY WOULD NOT WORK. ALSO IT APPEARS TO HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO EITHER THE ORIGINAL BATTERY OR CAMCORDER AS THIS DOES NOT NOW WORK EITHER

"incompatible batteries" then? If somebody sells them as 'compatible' see you get your money back.

In other words there is no solution with the supposedly compatible very incompatible batteries that I bought? Not to seem ignorant, I just want to exhaust all possibilities before I return to sender.......
